We are looking for a Python Engineer to join a team of developers building a best-in-class analytics and reporting framework for users. The client is a US and Norwegian based global leader in Asset Management and a global investment management organization with high quality assets and strategies around the world.

Working in a hybrid system from an office located in Warsaw and Cracow, however the client is open to candidates who would like to work 100% remotely. The client offers employment based on an employment contract or B2B.

Responsibilities:

*Build an analytics framework to enable flexible large-scale computing on large datasets.

*Develop a quantitative understanding of risk

*Deliver high quality products to business partners

*Solve complex and challenging problems by applying creative solutions using the latest technologies
*Develop close working relationships

Qualifications:

*Strong knowledge in Python.

*Knowledge of at least one functional language (Erlang, Haskell, Scala, F#, Clojure, Ocaml, Clean, Lisp, Scheme, Standard ML, Nemerle, etc.).

*Knowledge in the area of financial instruments in all asset classes, including fixed income.

*Nice to have: experience in calculations on large data sets.
