We are looking for a Senior Staff Java Engineer to join to the team developing Trading Technology systems. The client is a US and Norwegian based global leader in Asset Management, and a global investment management organization with high quality assets and strategies around the world.

Working in a hybrid system from an office located in Warsaw and Cracow, however the client is open to candidates who would like to work 100% remotely. The client offers employment based on an employment contract or B2B.

Responsibilities:

* Work with the QA and support team
* Design, develop, debug, and maintain solutions in Java
* Develop close working relationships
* Extending our order management systems

Qualifications:

* Strong Knowledge of Java
* Unix/Linux
* Financial industry experience
* Kafka/ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ - nice to have
* Low-latency programming or high frequency trading experience
* Network programming experience
